Salt The White Gold [Zout het witte goud] Art show
Kourosh Ajamlou has become a celebrated artist over the last years. His work can be defined as constituting a colourful patchwork of meaningful images with creative and imaginary expression. He exhibits this in various ways, in sculpture, paintings, handcraft, furniture, carpets, clothing and applied art. His work is pure, direct, original and makes a very powerful and clear impression. Special for this art show he has made a serie of paintings which are inspired by the history of salt all over the world. He mixed salt in his coat to get special effects in his art works.
Kourosh is de laatste jaren gegroeid als veelzijdig en succesvol kunstenaar. Zijn werk is een kleurig patchwork van onderwerpen die hij zowel in zijn schilderijen, als met bronzen beelden, tapijten, meubels en kleding voor het voetlicht brengt in zijn zo karakteristieke, sprekende stijl. Op deze expositie laat hij een serie schilderijen zien die geïnspireerd zijn op de geschiedenis van het zout. Speciaal voor deze expositie heeft hij onderstaande schilderijen vervaardigd waarin zout met de verf is vermengd.
